We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and other applicable South African law.

C Beyond Health is a South African health and wellness business based in Hermanus, Western Cape. For purposes of POPIA, C Beyond Health is the responsible party in respect of personal information where we determine the purpose and means of processing that information.

3. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect information including: your name and surname; telephone number, email address and other contact details; information you provide when completing a website form, making an enquiry or booking an appointment; information relating to products or services you have purchased, booked or enquired about; communication preferences and marketing consent; correspondence between you and C Beyond Health; information voluntarily provided in connection with a consultation or service; transaction and payment-related information, where applicable; and technical information associated with your use of our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information and website usage information. Certain services offered by C Beyond Health may require you to provide information relating to your health or wellbeing. Where this constitutes special personal information under POPIA, we will process it only where we are lawfully permitted to do so and with appropriate safeguards. 6. Website forms and bookings

Our website and online booking facilities are provided using Odoo. When you submit an enquiry, complete a form or make an appointment through our website, the information you provide may be processed and stored within our Odoo systems so that we can respond to your request, administer your booking or provide the requested service. Submitting an enquiry or making a booking does not automatically subscribe you to our marketing communications.

7. Email marketing

C Beyond Health currently uses Mailchimp to manage certain email newsletters, educational communications and marketing campaigns. If you choose to subscribe, relevant information such as your name, email address and communication preferences may be transferred to and processed by Mailchimp for this purpose. Mailchimp and some of its service providers operate outside South Africa. Your information may therefore be processed or stored in other countries, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable data-protection requirements. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe facility included in the communication or by contacting us. Where permitted by POPIA, we may also communicate with existing customers about our own similar products or services. You will always be given an appropriate opportunity to opt out of direct marketing.

8. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to enable the website to function, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site and improve the website experience. Some cookies are necessary for the operation and security of the website. Other cookies, including analytics or marketing cookies where used, may require your consent. 9. Payments

Where online payments are made available through our website, payment transactions may be processed through an authorised third-party payment service provider integrated with our website. The payment provider may collect and process information required to complete and secure your transaction. C Beyond Health does not need to receive or store your complete payment-card details where these are processed directly by the payment provider. The payment provider's own privacy and security terms may also apply to the information it processes.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or make personal information available to trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide our services. These may include providers involved in: website hosting and website management, including Odoo; appointment and booking systems; email and communication services, including Mailchimp; payment processing; accounting and administration; information technology and data storage; and professional, legal or regulatory services. Where another organisation processes personal information on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate confidentiality, privacy and security measures are in place. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, regulation, legal process or a lawful request from an appropriate authority.

11. International processing and storage

Some technology and service providers used by C Beyond Health operate or store information outside South Africa. This may include services used for website hosting, cloud infrastructure, email communications and other technology functions. Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer is made in accordance with POPIA and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

12. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for a longer period where required or permitted by law. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it securely. Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. Some information cannot immediately be deleted where we are legally required or otherwise lawfully entitled to retain it.

Once you leave our website or interact directly with a third-party service, that organisation's privacy practices and terms may apply.
